Katherine McHugh founded AWAKEN Wellness Resource to bring about positive change at the individual and organizational levels through the practice of mindfulness.
She brings over 28 years of personal practice to the training and over 15 years of experience as a personal development consultant and mindfulness educator in corporate, academic and community settings.
With a Master’s Degree in Comparative Contemplative Practices, she trained at the renowned Center for Mindfulness in Medicine, Health Care and Society at the University of Massachusetts Medical School.
Working with companies such as Aetna, Hubspot, Hasbro, Progress Software, universities including Harvard Law School, Harvard Dental School, Wellesley and Boston College, Katherine is the creator and voice of the MeQuilibrium Mindfulness Meditation Series. Her latest venture provides children and teen mindfulness videos for the Be Fearless Be Kind Initiative whose mission is to nurture empathy and compassion in youth. In addition, she was a consultant for Emindful, providing live on-line classes in mindfulness across the United States and Canada.
